Jennifer Michel
Jennifer Michel brings over ten years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on driving marketing and business development initiatives. Jennifer joined First Water in November 2023 as Vice President of Client and Sponsor Relations where she oversees the company’s marketing initiatives and plays a key role in connections and communications between First Water, clients, and capital partners.
Prior to First Water, Jennifer served as Vice President of M&A Advisory at Wells Fargo, specializing in providing sell-side M&A services to middle-market companies. In this role, she acted as the primary point of contact for transactions and contributed to business development efforts. Prior to this, Jennifer held the position of Senior Associate at D.A. Davidson (formerly Marlin & Associates) in New York, focusing on sell-side M&A advisory within the technology and media sectors. During this period, she developed marketing collateral related to M&A transactions, created impactful presentations for potential clients, and contributed to new business generation.
Previously, Jennifer worked as a Senior Associate at Foxcode Inc., a merchant bank, where she played a pivotal role in orchestrating the merger of four family-owned energy services companies and provided post-integration support to the portfolio companies. Jennifer commenced her career at PNC Bank, completing a comprehensive three-year investment banking analyst program.
Jennifer holds a B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and currently resides in Houston with her husband and their two children.
